Changing the domain holder is only possible if there is proof of legal succession between the new and old domain holder. In the case of legal succession, documents proving this must be submitted to the e-mail address: helpdesk@carnet.hr.
If the legal succession for the free domain does not exist, the domain must be deleted and registered to a new holder.
Changing the holder for paid domains is also free of charge if there is proof of legal succession. Otherwise, the specified change is charged at the current authorized registrar.
Examples of documentation that serves as evidence of legal succession are the Merger Agreement, the Agreement on the transfer of the economic entity, the Decision on inheritance etc.
